Swedish electric motorcycle brand Cake took the wraps off its latest model, the Ösa, on Tuesday at the EICMA show in Milan, Italy. It’s the brand’s second platform, following the introduction of the Cake Kalk last year.

The Ösa will be available in two versions: the Ösa Lite (top speed of 30 mph and 74-mile range) and the Ösa+ (63 mph top speed and 62-mile range). The company describes the new electrics as modular utility commuter vehicles that are also capable for off-road duty.

“Heavily influenced by the workbench, the Ösa design features a large gray bar extending out from underneath the seat. This uni-bar, modular clamp-on system serves as the heart of the Ösa, allowing users to attach baskets, bags, tools, and more to create over 1,000 different possible configurations,” Cake stated in a release.

With multiple outlets, the batteries on the Ösa Lite and Ösa+ serve as integrated power stations for charging devices during off-the-grid adventures. The batteries come in two 51.8V versions. The 30Ah, 1.5kWh “Lean” version has a 5V (10W) integrated power outlet for phones, tablets, and other small electronics, and a 12V (180W) integrated outlet for computers, speakers, and other medium-duty devices. The 50Ah, 2.5kWh “Long” battery has a 5V (10W) outlet for small devices and the same 12V (180W) integrated outlet for medium-duty devices. Both batteries also include a 110V/220V (2000W) outlet via an external adapter to power heavy-duty electronic devices. The batteries fully charge in about three hours.

In a release, Cake founder and CEO Stefan Ytterborn said the Ösa is the latest reflection of Cake’s mission to deliver clean, light, and quiet transportation options for consumers.

“To avoid an environmental meltdown, there is an obligation to change wthat is shared by everyone. Transportation is one of the more evident changes. We’re seeing combustion vehicles being replaced by electric, gasoline and diesel are being banned, and cars will soon be excluded from the urban landscape. The Ösa is our next offering—it provides a viable platform for that change as it so capably meets the diverse needs and priorities of our customers.”
